Muslim charity distributes warm clothes to Sunsari locals
BHOJPUR: A Muslim charity in Sunsari today distributed winter clothes to needy people of a non-Muslim community.
The Millat Education and Welfare Society distributed blankets, jackets, sweaters, caps and mufflers to around 300 locals of Narsing-1 today.
Speaking at the function, Sunsari Chief District Officer Ravilal Pantha said the world would have been peaceful if the people had followed the path of humanity as taught by religions.
On the occasion, President of the Society, Firoj Aalam, said the organisation had been providing scholarship to 67 orphan children.
Another member of the organisation Khurshid Aalam said as many as 1,625 people would be provided with warm clothes this year.
