RAJBIRAJ: A 26-year-old temporary policeman died when a motorcycle he was riding on lost its conrol and rammed onto a bridge in Saptari district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Min Narayan Chaudhary, a permanent resident of Krishna Sawaran Rural Municipality in the district.

The motorcycle (Na 33 Pa 4122) rammed onto the Mohuli Bridge at Kanchanrup Municipality-11, Saptari.

Chaudhary was recruited by the Mohuli-based Area Police Office for the security of the local level election held on May 14.

Similarly, injured pillion rider Raghunanda Chaudhary has been receiving treatment at the Theliya-based Dharmeshwor Hospital in the district, said police.
