Myagdi district receives two ambulances from Indian Embassy

BABIYACHAUR, MYAGDI: The Indian Embassy in Nepal has provided two ambulances to Myagdi district.

On the occasion of 69th Republic Day of India, the Indian Embassy handed over the ambulances - one to Annapurna Rural Municipality and another to Nepal Red Cross Society district chapter.

The ambulances were handed over to the Rural Municipality Chief Dam Babadur Pun and Red Cross district chapter Chair Lekh Bahadur Hamal amidst a function organised on the Embassy premises in Kathmandu on Friday.

It has been learnt that the Rural Municipality would utilise the ambulance focusing on the northern belt of the district, while the Red Cross is to mobilise the vehicle in the western belt.

Retired from Indian Army, Rural Municipality Chief Pun had made special efforts to seek support from the Embassy.
