Myagdi plane crash: 12 bodies brought to Pokhara, 3 handed over to kin
POKHARA: As many as 12 bodies of those killed in Myagdi plane crash, involving a Tara Air Twin-Otter aircraft, at Soleghopte cliff in Dana VDC in Myagdi were airlifted to Pokhara today.
Senior Superintendent of Police Mahendra Kumar Pokharel said that of the bodies taken to Pokhara, two have been identified as of Rewati Baral and captain Roshan Manandhar.
He added that preparations were underway to airlift the body of Manandhar to Kathmandu, while the rest will be sent to Western Regional Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, those identified bodies of Binita Bhattachan, her two-month-old son and Krishna Lal Bhattachan have been handed over to their kin in Mustang.
Police said that preparations were on to bring other remaining bodies to Pokhara.
