NA constructs stage for school

Rajbiraj, May 18

Bhim Dal Battalion of Nepali Army has constructed a concrete stage for a school in Dakneshwori Municipality of Saptari. The stage will be used by Janata Secondary School to conduct its academic programmes.

Bhim Dal Battalion Chief Gupta Bahadur Kunwar said the stage was built to facilitate school students to perform academic activities. NA utilised its social responsibility fund to build the stage.

The newly-constructed stage was handed over to Chair of School Management Committee Shovananda Raya, amidst a programme organised at the school today.

Dakneshwori Municipality Mayor Shiva Narayan Sha expressed gratitude to the NA team for helping the school and its students. Earlier, the team had also constructed a 170-feet long compound wall of the school. The NA team had also constructed a community hall in a Mushahar Settlement at Chhinamasta Rural Municipality, some four months ago.

The NA team has been organising different programmes like training drivers in disaster management skills and providing drinking water for various communities at the local levels in Saptari through deep boring.
