NAC resumes Kathmandu-Taplejung air service
TAPLEJUNG: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has resumed its flight to Taplejung from Kathmandu after a gap of around four months.
With the new decision, NAC is preparing to begin its air service from coming Wednesday and the airfare would be slashed by Rs 1,040 compared to before.
NAC said that the airfare was fixed at Rs 6,400 and the flights would be operated on Wednesdays and Fridays every week.
Likewise, Summit Air has also announced its flight schedule to Taplejung. The airlines would offer its service once a week, on Monday. An aircraft of Summit Air was expected to land in Taplejung last week but it could not operate its flight due to unfavourable weather condition.
