National Hindi symposium held

Janakpurdham, October 7 :

PM Girija Prasad Koirala has noted that 8th National Hindi Symposium that began at Janakpur would help establishing closer relationship between Nepali and Hindi languages.

In a message of felicitation sent today on the occasion of the symposium organised by the Janakpur Intellectual Society today, Prime Minister Koirala lauded the Society’s contribution in elucidating Nepali literature, culture and other subjects to the Hindi speaking community.

Meanwhile, inaugurating the Symposium here today, Minister of State for Local Administration Dharma Nath Prasad Shah said that no side should try to consider that Hindi is going up against their mother tongues. MP Ram Chandra Tiwari sought legal recognition to Hindi.Rajarshi Janak Talent Award was handed over to Founder of Ramananda Asharam Awadh Kishor Dash.
