KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed, citing busy schedule of the party's top leaders.

According to NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the CWC meeting has been postponed until next notice comes out.

Senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi, Secretary-General Dr Sashank Koirala, former Secretary-General Krishna Prasad Situala among others are engaged in party's programmes in various districts, informed Spokesperson Sharma.

The discussion on the statute of Nepal Student Union that was earlier scheduled for the CWC will now be deliberated in the Directors Committee of the party.
