Damauli, November 15

Nepali Congress Tanahun has started its awareness campaign in remote rural areas of the district from today.

The campaign was launched with the initiative of district lawmakers Dhruba Wagle and Jhul Bahadur Ale.

A team of campaigners, led by the lawmakers duo moved to Baidi area today.

Lawmaker Wagle said the campaign aimed to raise awareness among rural party cadres and to interact with them face-to-face and discuss the achievements of the new constitution, its effective implementation and provisions introduced in the new law.

According to Wagle, the campaign will be launched in Kota, Bhirkot, Kotdarbar, Ramjakot, Rishingrani Pokhari and Sabhungbhagawatipur, among other VDCs of the district.

The campaigners are scheduled to take necessary feedback on strengthening the party organisation, while interactions with cadres on the current political situation would also be conducted.

NC Tanahun said the campaign would be launched in all wards of all municipalities and all VDCs of constituency 2 of the district.
