SINDHULI: Activists of Tarun Dal — youth wing of Nepali Congress — attacked three Maoist combatants and a journalist in Sindhuli on Monday. The Tarun Dal cadres led by Upendra Pokharel, its district chairman, had assaulted Beni Bahadur Moktan, Shiva Bahadur Achhami and Arun Lama - combatants of the third division of the Maoists' PLA - injuring them. The three had come to visit Sindhulimadi from the cantonment. Local chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists said Pokharel had also attacked NTV’s correspondent Min Kumar Dahal at the site. All the injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital.
