KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) office bearers' meeting today has decided to submit a proposal to file the candidates for the post of President and Vice-president in the meeting of the central working committee of the party.

NC's Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel told RSS that the meeting held at the residence of the party President Sushil Koirala at Maharajgunj decided to file the candidates for the posts with holding serious discussions with other political parties representing in the parliament.

Poudel added that the party targets to win the election. The central committee meeting to be held this afternoon would take the decision in this regard.

Similarly, talking to RSS, central committee member Arjun Narshing KC said that the party concluded for consensus this time since the party had stressed on consensus during the election of speaker and deputy speaker.
