NC parliamentary party executive committee unanimously elected

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress parliamentary party executive committee has been unanimously elected after the same number of the aspirants to the posts available filed their candidacy.

The unanimously elected members from the each provinces are Dr Minendra Rijal (Province 1), Tejulal Chaudhary (Province 2), Dibya Mani Raj Bhandari (Province 3), Prakash Pantha (Province 4), Devendra Raj Kandel (Province 5), Rangamati Shahi (Karnali Province) and Dilendra Parasad Badu(Province 7).

Similarly, Tara Devi Bhatta and Rajendra Kumar KC were elected from Khas-arya community, Pramila Rai and Gyan Kumari Chhantyal from indigenous community, Jitendra Narayan Dev and Minakshi from Madhesi community, said coordinator of the election committee Chinkaji Shrestha.

Likewise, Min Bahadur Bishwakarma and Biamala Nepali from Dalit community, Namita Chaudhary from Tharu community, Atahar Kamal Musalman from Muslim community and Ram Bahdur Bista representing from remote area were elected. Though the committee had announced the election programme for May 21, all members are elected unanimously.

According to the party statute, parliamentary party leader nominates other five members to the committee.
