Nepali Congress (NC) is set to register its first victory in the House of Representatives election, with its candidate Yogesh Gauchan Thakali leading the final tally in Mustang.

According to the Election Officer's Office, Thakali secured 3,307 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Indradhara Bista received 1,806 votes. Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Aditya Chandra Thakali garnered 759 votes.

Similarly, Kamala Lalchan of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party obtained 161 votes and Ngutuk Gurung of the Nepal Communist Party received 151 votes.

Although vote counting has been completed, the official announcement of the result is yet to be made by the Chief Election Officer's Office.

Out of 11,328 registered voters in Mustang, a total of 6,388 votes were cast, with 107 ballots declared invalid.
