Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Secretariat meeting today also could not finalise the issues related to organisational structure and hierarchy of leaders in the provincial levels.

The agenda will be sorted out after NCP Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s China visit.

Dahal will be leaving for China on Saturday and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha-led 15 member delegation is leaving for China tomorrow. The standing committee meeting will be held after Dahal returns from China.

According to a secretariat member, the agenda, including political and government performance will be discussed after Dahal’s China visit.

“The meeting has been postponed for tomorrow, we had discussed extensively today” NCP secretariat member Bamdev Gautam told The Himalayan Times after the meeting.

The leaders discussed modality and procedure of party unity across the country as well as unity of the sister organisations.

The secretariat meeting could not reach conclusion on the issues yesterday so the meeting had been postponed for today.

NCP Co-chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal had floated some ideas and procedures, including the federal minister, members of federal Parliament, chief ministers, provincial ministers and members of Provincial Assembly will not be headed the party committee in the provincial and districts levels.
