Nepal condemns bomb attacks in Lahore
KATHMANDU: The Nepal government on Monday condemned terrorist bomb attacks in the Pakistani city of Lahore carried out on Sunday.
"The Government of Nepal strongly condemns the terrorist bomb attacks at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore yesterday resulting in deaths and injury of innocent people, mostly women and children," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement today, "The Government of Nepal holds the view that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations is deplorable and that terrorism must be dealt with firmly and resolutely."
"At this difficult hour, the Government of Nepal also expresses its solidarity with the people and the Government of Pakistan."
At least 70 persons have been confirmed killed in the attacks so far.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli telephoned Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif and expressed solidarity with Pakistani people.
He also condemned the terrorist act.
