Nepal and Liberia establish diplomatic relations

KATHMANDU: Nepal and Liberia have established formal bilateral diplomatic relations. With this, Nepal has now expanded its bilateral relations to 150 countries across the globe.

Ambassador Durga Prasad Bhattarai, Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations and Ambassador Lewis G Brown, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Liberia to the UN, signed a Joint Communiqué to the effect in New York, USA.

The two ambassadors also jointly informed United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres  of the establishment of Nepal-Liberia diplomatic relations today, according to the Nepali mission.
