KATHMANDU: Media personnel were barred from entering the Supreme Court of Nepal and covering the hearing on journalist and Sajha Yatayat Chairman Kanak Mani Dixit's case on Tuesday.

Dixit was arrested by the Commission for the Investigation Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on April 22. After his wife Shanta filed a writ of habeas corpus, the CIAA produced Dixit before the apex court today.

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Sushila Karki and Justice Jagadish Sharma Paudel heard the case.
