KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 03

Nepal recorded 395 new coronavirus infections in last 24 hours, pushing the nationwide tally to 813,828, while the death toll climbed to 11,434 with seven fatalities today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 793,271 with 439 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 9,913 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 6,577 were PCR tests while 3,336 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 4,441,934 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests have confirmed 52 positive cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals to 447.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 97.5%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.4%.

The country's active Covid-19 case count currently is 9,123.

Currently, there are 121 individuals in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.

On Tuesday, Nepal had recorded 422 cases of coronavirus while 11 more succumbed to the infection during the same time.
