Nepal participates at Asia Roadshow in Germany
KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board had participated in the Asia Roadshow an annual event organised by FTI Touristik Germany recently.
In a statement issued by the NTB on Friday said the show was held in five prominent cities in Hamburg, Essen, Mannheim, Wurzburg and Dresden from August 21 to 25 this year across Germany.
This was the first initiative of NTB to partner with an International Tour Operator for destination Promotion and Nepal had an exclusive presentation session in all the events along with 5 other top destinations in Asia including China, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore, it said in the statement.
Nepal was the only country to have participated in the FTI Asia Roadshow from South Asia till date.
Ram Pratap Thapa Honorary Consul General of Nepal to Germany, among others presented the road shows in various sessions to sell Nepal product to potential German tour operators.
"The program not only helped to re-position Nepal's brand name among the German Travel trade but also helped in networking with Asian counterpart destinations for joint promotion," read the statement.
Meanwhile, Nepal Tourism Board CEO Deepak Raj Joshi thanked the FTI Touristik Germany for including Nepal in the Roadshow and vowed to be part of the show in future.
