Embassy hosts networking event in Manama to strengthen bilateral economic ties
KATHMANDU, JULY 16
The Embassy of Nepal in Manama, Bahrain, hosted a "Nepal Tourism and Business Networking Event" on July 13 at the Crowne Plaza, in Manama, aiming to promote tourism and investment between Nepal and Bahrain.
Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle addressed the gathering, highlighting business opportunities and proposing the formation of a Nepal-Bahrain Business and Friendship Forum. He emphasized Nepal's tourism potential and the importance of improved air connectivity.
Deputy Chief of Mission Sujana Aryal presented on investment and tourism in Nepal, sharing contact points for interested parties.
The event was attended by Bahraini government officials, business leaders, investors, journalists, and friends of Nepal, with participation from representatives of the Bahrain Chamber, Bahrain Businessmen's Association, and Bahrain SME Society. MP Mohamed Husain Janahi, Ahmed J. Al-Haiki, and Fahd AlBinali were among the key attendees.
Cultural displays, promotional videos, and Nepali products were showcased. Participants received Nepali tea and brochures, and Nepali cuisine was served. Third Secretary Deep Raj Joshi hosted the program.
