KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 03
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 2,642 on Saturday as 92 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 997,752 while the death toll remains at 12,007 as two fatalities were recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 983,103 with 339 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 3,537 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 1,381 were PCR tests while 2,156 were antigen tests.
With this, a total of 5,894,911 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 108 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.5%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
