KATHMANDU, JUNE 03

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 111 on Friday as 12 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 979,182 while the death toll remains at 11,952 as no fatalities were recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 967,119 with nine discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 5,605 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 4,528 were PCR tests while 1077 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,712,878 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed seven positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.8%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
