KATHMANDU, JULY 27
The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 3,929 on Wednesday as 418 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.
The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 984,893 while the death toll reached to 11,960 as one fatality was recorded today.
Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 969,004 with 202 discharges logged today.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 4,454 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 2,778 were PCR tests while 1,676 were antigen tests. With this, a total of 5,807,136 PCR tests have been carried out till date.
Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 146 positive cases in the past 24 hours.
Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.4%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.
Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
