KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 30

The national active Covid-19 caseload of Nepal active caseload has reached to 1,004 on Friday as 30 people tested positive for the infection in past 24 hours.

The latest reported number of infections carried the nationwide tally to 999,742 while the death toll remains at 12,018 as no fatality was recorded today.

Meanwhile, the total coronavirus recoveries stand at 986,720 with 103 discharges logged today.

As per the latest data provided by the health ministry, a total of 2,535 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which 941 were PCR tests while 1,594 were antigen tests.

With this, a total of 5,937,643 PCR tests have been carried out till date.

Similarly, antigen tests confirmed 33 positive cases in the past 24 hours. Nepal's Covid-19 recovery rate stands at 98.7%, while the fatality rate stands at 1.2%.

Currently, there are no individuals in any quarantine facilities across Nepal.
