Ambassador Rana honoured in Japan
TOKYO: The newly appointed Nepali Ambassador to Japan Pratibha Rana was honoured by Nepali diaspora in Tokyo, Japan on Sunday.
In a programme organised by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Japan Chapter, at Shinjuku Prince Hotel in Tokyo, the honoured Ambassador Rana was also advised by the participating organisations to further strengthen Nepal-Japan relations by various organisations active in Japan.
In the event, the representatives of the various political parties based in Japan have called for the improvement in the relations, pointing out how the untoward activities of some Nepalis have created problems for others.
Ambassador Rana, who took up the post of Nepal's top diplomatic representative in Japan being overseen by an acting ambassador a month ago, pledged to work for Nepal and the Nepalis' interest.
On the occasion, the Nepali Ambassador vowed to arrange an exchange of high level visits between two countries for technological advancement of Nepal.
