KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 12
The Nepali Army has reported multiple security actions across the country, including the safe disposal of a suspicious object, arrests, and weapons recovery.
According to the Army's security update:
A suspicious object found at Hospital Chowk, Bhadrapur Municipality-8, Jhapa, was safely disposed of by a Nepali Army bomb disposal team.
In Kathmandu's Maharajgunj area, security personnel detained two individuals carrying multiple mobile phones and foreign currency.
The army also recaptured 43 inmates escaped from Dhading District Prison in Gajuri.
So far, a total of 135 firearms have been recovered from various locations nationwide.
The Army stated that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order amid the current national turmoil.
