MAHOTTARI:

An unidentified group of 25 persons on Saturday night abducted Dhaniram Mahato, the Pashupatinagar VDC unit president of the Nepali Congress (NC), in Mahottari district. Mahato was kidnapped at gunpoint from his house in Pashupatinagar VDC, family members said. A search for him is on, said the Mahottari district police office. In a statement on Sunday, NC Mahottari secretary Bajarang Nepali condemned the abduction.
