Nepali Congress regional office vandalised

RATNANAGAR: The regional party office of the Nepali Congress at Phulbari in the district has been vandalised.

The district party President Tek Prasad Gurung informed that an unidentified gang vandalised furniture and window panes of the office.

Police are investigating into the case but no progress has been achieved so far.

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala was elected from the same constituency in the second Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Similarly, Ram Krishna Ghimire had won the by-election from the constituency after PM Sushil Koirala resigned from the post.
