In a brief press meet here today, Member of Parliament Singh said that their support to the government will depend on its performance.

At the meet, he blamed party leadership of failing to run the party in line with its statutes and sentiments of the cadres.

Leader Singh further argued that when the left alliance is moving toward unification, NC should not be operating in traditional ways, and that the party should be able to move forward in line with the new and changing political context. He added that running the party guided by traditional principles might invite further challenges in the future.

The NC leader also stressed the need to call for immediate meetings of the Mahasamiti and central committee of the party to discuss various issues, including the debacle faced by the party in recent elections.
