Nepali youth dies in Malaysia

RAUTAHAT: A youth who had been to Malaysia three years ago for foreign employment has been reported dead there on Tuesday. The news of his death, however, was broken to his family today only.

Jayam Mangal Raut, 22, of Balchanpur, Chandrapur Municipality-13 in the district died of fever, as reported to his family. "Last time when he contacted us, he said he was suffering from fever," shared bereaved father Ram Ayodhya Raut.

Deceased Jayam Mangal is learnt to have flown to Malaysia, keeping his house and land as collateral, said Jayam Mangal's father. The bereaved family has requested with the authority concerned to help bring Jayam's body back home for death rituals.
