RAUTAHAT, AUGUST 21

A Nepali youth from Ward 3 of Paroh Municipality was shot to death at Champapur Bakhari of Bihar in India.

The body of Bindawasini Sahani, 45, was found on the roadside of Champapur yesterday. Sahani has received bullets on his neck and temple.

Indian police have also seized the motorbike used by Sahani. Sahani was involved in criminal activities in Nepal for the past 12 years. More than a dozen cases have been filed against Sahani with Rautahat District Police Office. He was hiding in Nepal.

During the Maoist insurgency, Sahani had spied on the Maoist on behalf of Nepal police.

After the Maoists joined the peace process, they had abducted Sahani's brother Shayam Sundar and his wife.
