Nepalis stranded in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, January 15:

Ninety-six Nepali workers working for a Malaysian company, QPC Technology, have been stranded in Joharbaru of Malaysia after the company denied them salary for the last four months.

All of them had gone to Malaysia via Nawadurga Manpower Company based in Naya Baneshwor of Kathmandu. One of the workers was arrested for carrying expired visa. The affected workers said the manpower company had paid no heed to their problem even when they informed it about the arrest.

No company representative has reportedly contacted the workers of late.
