Nepalis travelling abroad via New Delhi require NOC letter: Nepali Embassy
KATHMANDU: Nepali nationals wishing to travel to foreign countries via New Delhi would need to produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Nepali Embassy in India in order to receive Indian Immigration Clearance, the diplomatic mission said today.
Issuing a press statement, the diplomatic mission said applicants should submit the following documents in person to Nepal Embassy in New Delhi to obtain the NOC letter.
The applicant should submit a signed application letter clarifying reasons for travelling to a foreign country, a copy of passport, valid visa, air ticket, including past travel history except India.
Employment visa holders should submit an employment permit issued by the Department of Foreign Employment along with aforementioned documents, according to the statement issued by the embassy.
Nepali students and entrepreneurs based in India would require to furnish documents related to their professions along with other documents to obtain NOC prior to travelling abroad via New Delhi.
After scrutinising all the above documents, the Embassy would release the NOC to Nepali nationals travelling abroad via the Indian capital, the diplomatic mission said.
If an applicant fails to appear in person due to any emergency, they can submit their documents via email to consularnepalembassy@gmail.com. After verifying all the documents, NOC will be issued and sent to applicant's email, as per the statement.
