Nepal’s constitution most progressive in the world, claims Nembang
POKHARA: Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang has defended the new constitution, saying it is the most inclusive and progressive charter in the world.
Speaking at an interaction programme organised by Reporters Club in Pokhara, on Thursday, Nembang said that there may be dissatisfactions regarding the promulgation of new constitution.
However, political parties are ready to amend any fault, if any, in the new constitution.
The new constitution will be implemented to a full swing after the meeting of Parliament on October 2, he said.
All the political parties and Nepali people must be together, as to implement the new charter is a difficult task, informed Nembang.
Nembang further said after the homework of six years, the Constituent Assembly promulgated the new charter. So, all the people of Tarai, Hill and Mountain regions have equal responsibility to implement it, the leader added.
The disagreement regarding different issues as raised by Madhes-based parties can be resolved from the House too. However, going out of the Parliament is not the solution, claimed Nembang.
