PYUTHAN: Pyuthan Municipality has allocated and sent the budget to all wards on the basis of population and geography.

Budget appropriation and implementation has started from the ward level. Speaking at a municipal council meeting on Tuesday, Executive Officer New Bahadur Wali said that unlike in other municipalities, budget had been allocated to the wards after approval from the municipality’s Integrated Planning Committee.

The municipality said that it had sent almost Rs 20 million each ward and allocated a fund of more than Rs 0.5 million for at least one big project.

The municipality has proposed programme of more than Rs 90 million for the current fiscal.
