DHANGADHI, APRIL 26

Following the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in Kanchanpur and Kailai, a prohibitory order has been imposed in these two districts from 8:00 PM till 5:00 AM effective from Monday.

A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC) recommended the local administration in these areas to enforce night lockdown to contain the spread of the virus.

Similarly, the committee also decided to set up medical desks to conduct health check-ups of returning migrants at Gauriphanta and Gadda Chauki transit points before allowing them passage.

Likewise the meeting also decided to revive isolation, quarantine centres in response to the second wave of infections, reimplement odd-even rule for public transporation and allowing hotels and restaurants to operate only till 8:00 PM in the area.

Sudurpaschim Province has been hit by the second wave of coronavirus infection in recent days.

Meanwhile, Nepal has reported daily infection in excess of over three thousand cases and is also witnessing rise in mortality rate across the nation.
