Siraha, October 2:

Youths of Bishnupurkatti VDC of Siraha have been patrolling in the night for security of their locality.

There is majority of the people of Pahadi community living in Bishnupurkatti. Youths started patrolling after the incidents of robberies, stealing, lootings and killing increased in the villages. Locals were terrified after JTMM-J cadres murdered headmaster of local Tulsiram Satyabhama Dotel Secondary School Arun Kumar Shrestha on September 10.

Youths, with domestic weapons including khukuris, bamboo sticks and spears in thier hands have been patrolling in the nights. Four groups of youths having twenty members in each group are patrolling from 8 pm to 3 am every night in their localities.
