KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 11

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has argued that opponents have begun plotting conspiracies against the government upon witnessing its efforts in favor of the people.

Speaking at an orientation organized by his party, CPN (Maoist Centre), in Gokarneshwor, Kathmandu, under the 'Maoist with People, Special Transformation Campaign,' Prime Minister Dahal, who is also the Chairperson of the party, mentioned that those against the government have started defaming it by spreading disinformation.

This backlash, he argued, is a result of the government's commitment to social justice, good governance, and prosperity. Furthermore, Dahal added that those against the system have targeted federalism, secularism, class, caste, and gender.

Emphasizing that the government has made historically important decisions in favor of social justice, the Prime Minister shared that the government successfully provided relief to thousands of people by formulating laws in favor of victims of loansharking.

The government has also initiated investigations into significant corruption cases.

Stating that there is no alternative to a democratic republic, Prime Minister Dahal claimed that the problems observed in Nepali society would be resolved through a democratic republic, while autocracy cannot serve as an alternative.

He shared that preparations are underway to provide land to tens of thousands of landless squatters by amending the Forest and Land-related Act. He added that decisive initiatives have been taken to address the problems of landless squatters."
