NRNA to provide emergency medical supplies to Nepal
KATHMANDU: Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) on Monday has decided to provide emergency medical and humanitarian supplies to Nepal in order to help the nation in this critical hour.
While writing to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, NRNA Chairman Shesh Ghale requested Thapa to provide the quantity and a list of necessary medicines.
In view of the shortage of essential goods in the nation, NRNA has pledged to support the people and the country in every possible way.
With the unofficial blockade imposed by India on Nepal, many districts of Nepal including Kathmandu have been reeling under acute shortage of medicines.
Even the basic medical supplies are running out of stock in many district of the country.
