NSP-A fails to pick central members

Birgunj, September 16:

Five members of a committee under the coordination of former senior vice-chairman Laxman Lal Karna was formed to pick 20 members from among 57 candidates vying for the post of central members.

“A meeting of the committee will be held in the capital in a few days and the members will be selected then,” Karna said.

Gupta questions authenticity

KATHMANDU: General Secretary of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party-Anandidevi (NSP-A) Shyam Sundar Gupta on Sunday claimed that the faction led by the party chairperson Anandidevi Singh was the authentic NSP-Anandidevi.

In this connection, he submitted a letter to Chief Election Commissioner Bhoj Raj Pokhrel on Sunday in which he claimed that the recent Birgunj convention called by the Minister Rajendra Mahato faction was illegal. — HNS
