RAUTAHAT: Nepal Sadvawana Party district member Anil Kumar Jha was found dead in the Bagmati River in Samanpur VDC, Rautahat,   on Tuesday.

A resident of Samanpur, Jha’s body was found in the river  long with his bicycle.

The 45-year-old, who is also the party’s Rautahat  constituency No 4 chairman, had gone to take stock of crops in the  field on Monday morning.

His kin had started searching for him after he  didn’t return home till late evening.

The body has been handed over to  his kin following post-mortem.
