NSU chief’s warning

Taplejung, February 9:

President of the Nepal Students’ Union Pradip Paudel warned today of military rule and civil war in the country if CA polls were not held on schedule. Addressing an assembly held by the NSU Taplejung chapter here, he said, “If the CA polls were not held on time, the country will come under military rule and this will lead a civil war.” Stating that the royalists will not rise anywhere in the country, Paudel said the students can play a crucial role in holding the CA election. General secretary of the Nepal Tarun Dal Padam Palungwa said the election is the only way for the emancipation of the Nepalis. Addressing the assembly, NC vice-president DB Rai, acting president Dipendra Sendang and president of the NSU (Taplejung chapter) Kumar Nalbu called for timely CA polls.
