PARASI: An octogenarian man drowned in the Narayani River near Gairi of Kawasoti Municipality-12 in Nawalparasi district.

The deceased has been identified as Gangaram Khanal (82) of Devchuli Municipality-12.

According to the Area Police Office, Nawalpur, the body has been kept at the Dumkauli Health Post for autopsy.

Meanwhile, Prem Kumari Mahato (22) of Kawasoti Municipality-3 was critically injured after Kabita Nepali of the same area attacked him with a spade.
