PARASI: An elderly drowned in Narayani River near Gairi of Kawasoti Municipality-12 in Nawalparasi district.

Gangaram Khanal, 82, of Devchuli Municipality-12 was found dead in the area, police said.

Area Police Office, Nawalpur, said that Khanal’s body is kept in Dumkauli Health Post for a postmortem.

Meanwhile, Prem Kumari Mahato, 22, of Kawasoti Municipality-3 was critically injured after Kabita Nepali of the same area attacked with a spade.
