Sunsari schools shut

DHARAN: All the government and private schools of Sunsari district were closed on Wednesday to mourn the death of 13 schoolchildren in Tuesday’s tempo mishap in Jhumka, Sunsari, said section officer of the Sunsari District Education Office, Raj Kumar Thapa. According to him, a total of 302 schools are there in the district. The students died when a three-wheeler carrying them plunged into the Chatra canal. — HNS
