Male body found

SANKHUWASABHA: A dead body was found in a forest nearby Mawadin village development committee in Sankhuwasabha district on Monday. The body is beleived to be of a male aged around 35, police Inspector, Prakash Sharma said, adding, “The person might have died about two weeks ago as the body was in a state of decomposition.” The body is yet to be identified, police said, adding, investigation into the incident is underway. — HNS

Two minors missing

RAUTAHAT: Two girls of Gonahi of Prempur have gone missing since Sunday evening. According to the police, daughters of Paltan Hajara of Prempur Gonahi VDC-5, Anita Kathariya,7, and four-year-old Monita went missing after they had gone to the local bazaar. Search for the missing girls is underway, the police said. —HNS
