POKHARA: The Himalayan Times’ photographer Krishna Mani Baral was feted by the Lake Side Pokhara-based Kedareshor Mahadev Mani Temple Conservation Committee at a programme here on the occasion of Mahashivaratri in Pokhara on Sunday for contributing to the publicity of the temple. Chairperson of District Development Committee, Ramesh Bahadur Bhattarai felicitated Baral with a letter of appreciation, said Surya Nath Adhikari, chairperson of the Committee. —HNS

1 killed in family feud

BIRGUNJ: One person was killed and another seriously hurt in a family feud at Biranchibarwa VDC-2 of Parsa on Saturday. Tejnath Tiwari and his son Dinesh killed Muktinath, 40, after a row over sharing a log, Area Police Office, Pokhariya, said Gayatri Devi, Muktinath’s wife, was hurt. — HNS
