Explosives defused

PYUTHAN: Security forces defused explosives planted by the Maoists to block vehicular movement to Madi, Pyuthan and Rolpa on Sunday. The explosives planted at Bhirpati of Gothiwang VDC blocked the road to Rolpa and Pyuthan. No vehicles plied on the road due to fear of blasts. Ram Prasad Ghimire, Chief District Officer, said security forces of Hanumandhwoj Company, Lamachaur, defused the bombs to resume traffic. — HNS
