Man severs genital

DHANGADHI: Lok Bahadur Saud, 50, of Kauwakheda of Lalbojhi Village Development Committee-8 of Kailali district severed his penis and disposed it into a river. Saud fell unconscious but now is reported to be in a stable condition.He has a wife, two sons and a daughter. — RSS

Crops damaged

DHANGADI: Wheat crop and fruit cultivation in Dhangadi municipality and Attaria have been damaged following a 15-minute hailstorm on Saturday morning The hailstorm destroyed mangoe and lychee blossoms in the area causing damage to over 25 per cent of other crops, farmers said. — HNS
