BARA: A Maoist was killed in security operation at Devapur of Bara district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Ramprit Yadav, of Devapur-7, sources said. — HNS

Social worker Nepali dead

BIRGUNJ: Bupendra Lal Nepali, 74, a senior social worker and former politician, died of heart attack at the National Medical College on Sunday. He was also suffering from diabetes. He helped in establishing the first campus outside the Valley, Thakur Ram Campus besides Hari Khetan Campus, Maisthan Bidhyapith and Tri Juddha Secondary School. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. — HNS
